Update: Ryan, 12-year-old son of Pastor Dan Johnson

Posted April 15, 2009 in GARBCnews, PrayerLink

While Ryan is not yet talking or actively communicating, he is responding increasingly to instructions. The staff at St. Vincent’s is very encouraged by his progress so far. Please join us in praising the Great Physician for His mercies! Please pray that Ryan will be able to sustain his own breathing and that his neurological damage will be minimal. While God is clearly at work in Ryan’s life and body, there is a long way to go and many hurdles ahead. Please keep praying.

Prayer for Churches’ Easter Ministry

Posted in PrayerLink

Dear Pastors and Churches,

Our GARBC Resource Center team is praying for your ministry this Easter weekend. May the Lord use the preaching of  the Cross and the praising of Christ’s name to introduce your guests to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7). Remember to pray for sister GARBC churches in your region as they hold Easter services.
