During October churches across the country celebrated GARBC Sunday. What did your church do for its GARBC Sunday? Share your stories and photos with the Resource Center staff.

Fran Cupples, wife of Pastor Roy Cupples, Victory Baptist Church, Fullerton, Nebraska, writes, “Today was ‘GARBC Sunday’ for churches that belong to the General Assembly of Regular Baptist Churches, of which we are a part. Some time ago we received information in the mail from our association along with a CD. We used the info to plan our morning service and also showed the CD to our church family. I, personally, appreciated the fine CD and the information on it and the opportunity to share it with our folks. Hopefully, they know a little bit more about the GARBC and how our church benefits from being a part of it. Several of our people gave testimony concerning the Regular Baptist Press materials we use at Victory Baptist and how they like it and Phil spoke about the camp’s involvement with other camps in the association.”

It’s not too late to celebrate GARBC Sunday. November is the month of Thanksgiving. Give thanks for your association by hosting a GARBC Sunday!

Nov. 4–7 marks the first conference of the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries in Bangkok, Thailand. The pastor patched John’s phone call into the speaker system, and John visited with the pastor and communicated to the people about the ways the GARBC assists churches. Fitness . . . God’s Way
Interested in reaching your community for Christ? A good entry into families is through women’s Bible studies. RBP’s new women’s study, Weighed by the Word, by Pat Warren addresses issues related to body consciousness and spiritual fitness. This 11-lesson study offers encouragement and hope to women who are dissatisfied with themselves.

Parenting S.O.S.
Families are in trouble. God’s Word has the answers. Parenting, a RBP Bible study by Dave and Carolyn Culver, offers in-depth lessons on every stage of parenting—from the birth of the first child to the arrival of the first great-grandchild. This study provides a great venue for inviting parents in your community—unsaved moms and dads are looking for help too!

Vision of Hope Residential Treatment Center, associated with Faith Baptist Church, Lafayette, Ind., works with girls ages 14–28 who are struggling with unplanned pregnancies, drug/alcohol abuse, eating disorders, and habits of self-harm. The ministry of Vision of Hope is Christ-centered, Bible based, and individualized to meet the needs of each participating girl. The program is highly structured in a loving, home-like environment.

Vision of Hope is looking for young female interns to assist in the ministry of caring for these young ladies while gaining hands-on experience in this field.  The Vision of Hope staff and intern team serve together to provide quality care to each young woman. Interns live at the residence and provide 24 hours of additional resident supervision per week. Interns may work, pursue Biblical counseling education from Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries, earn college credits, etc., during their off-duty hours. Any counseling education will occur on  interns’ own time and at their own expense.
