Spring Ministry Conference Offers Practical Guidance

BREESPORT, N.Y.—Breesport Baptist Church hosted the Spring Ministry Conference of the Northeast Fellowship. Two hundred people from across New York and northern Pennsylvania attended the event April 21 under the leadership of Jim Vogel, executive director of the Northeast Fellowship.

Practical workshops focused on various aspects church ministry. One of the workshop presenters was Alan Wilson, U.S. field coordinator for Regular Baptist Press, who spoke about the ministries of deacons and Sunday School teachers.

The Spring Ministry Conference is “designed for all church attenders, not simply pastors or ministry leaders,” Vogel says. “Our goal is to promote learning, mutual edification, and spiritual growth that will glorify God, as well as provide tools that will encourage local churches.”

Doug Forman, pastor of Breesport Baptist Church, says the conference “was a blessing to all, and we are praying for multiplied fruit as each attender implements what they learned in our local churches.”
