SEVILLE, Ohio—Seniors from the Hebron Association of Regular Baptist Churches enjoyed a trip in Branson, Missouri, Sept. 17–22. The six days were packed with entertaining activities characteristic of Craig and Shirley Golden’s bus trips.

Craig is associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Elyria, Ohio, and for many years has been leading trips like this one for the Hebron association, the regional association of Regular Baptist churches in north central Ohio. The couple’s motto is “You can sleep when you get home.”

The group of 43 seniors, representing 13 churches, attended nine family-friendly shows and participated in morning devotions together. The seniors “bonded like a close-knit family and cackled hilariously most of their waking hours,” Craig says. “The bottom line: It was fun, fun, fun.”

Craig says it was a special blessing to have in attendance Chuck Pausley, state representative of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches, and his wife, Linda. Their “presence added so much to the trip,” Craig says.

“It was a ‘couldn’t be better’ trip,” Craig says, “and the Hebron Fellowship’s seniors can’t wait for next year’s September trip to Washington, D.C.”
