ALLEGANY, N.Y.—The Northeast Fellowship led a day of practical teacher training for laypeople and pastoral staff of Regular Baptist churches in New York. The Education Ministry Clinic aimed to provide practical instruction on revitalizing Sunday School, teaching children and teens, and using teaching methods effectively.

Michael Paris, pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Ithaca, New York, and Jim Vogel, state representative of the Northeast Fellowship, led the seminar, with about 60 attendees, March 4 at Allegany Baptist Church.

The Northeast Fellowship is available to offer similar Education Ministry Clinics in New York churches requesting them. Topics that could be presented include recruiting volunteers for ministry, help for superintendents and Christian education coordinators, basic Bible study skills for teachers, and families at risk.
