KissimmeeFL_inlineKISSIMMEE, Fla.—Sept. 28 was a red-letter day as Gateway Baptist Church welcomed its new pastor, John Leber, and his wife, Kathy. To mark the occasion, members donned red shirts, blouses, and T-shirts.

Leber was installed during the morning worship service, which was led by Interim Pastor Dave B. Hamilton. He and his wife, Ruth, of Have Bible Will Travel (International Gospel Missions), had been serving and guiding the church in its search for a permanent pastor. Deacons Harry Fix, George Hall, and Stephen “Pat” Potts also participated in the installation. Then Leber preached a soul-stirring message, says the church, followed by a church-wide potluck dinner.

Gateway Baptist Church is located between two of the fastest-growing cities in Central Florida and within the Orlando metropolitan area. Each year millions of tourists visit, and many eventually move to the area. With the world coming to Kissimmee, Gateway Baptist Church asks for prayer as it seeks to evangelize the world “from home.”
