CEDARVILLE, Ohio—GARBC National Representative Mike Hess recently spoke in chapel on the campus of Cedarville University.

Before speaking from Exodus 15 on “The Cure for a Grumbling Heart,” Hess took an informal poll with the students, asking if they thought that his daughter, Hannah, should attend Cedarville University. They answered with a resounding “Yes!”

Hess continued with his message, challenging students to remember that God is worthy of their absolute trust, no matter the circumstance. He emphasized, “Our grumbling says more about our hearts than it does about our circumstances.”

The trip was Hess’s first visit on campus in his new role as national representative.  He says, “It was encouraging to experience what God is doing at Cedarville firsthand. I’m grateful for Dr. White’s leadership and the spiritual vibrancy on campus.”
