WINNEBAGO, Minn.—Bass Lake Camp hosted a bus trip to Washington, DC. The passengers included 29 people from four states.

From Oct. 3 to 11 the group visited many venues, including the Flight 93 Memorial (near Johnstown, Pennsylvania), the National Cathedral, the Museum of the Bible, Mount Vernon, the Pentagon Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and the US Capitol. The group also took portions of three days to visit the many memorials and Smithsonian museums around the National Mall.

On Sunday, Oct. 7, the group attended Berean Baptist Church in Manassas, Virginia. “It was good for both the host church and the many visitors to fellowship and get a bit acquainted with one another,” says Darrell Friar.

Darrell and his wife, Cindy, host a bus trip every fall. The Friars serve at Bass Lake Camp; Darrell also ministers as representative for the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches. For 2019 the Friars are planning a trip to Colorado.
