EVERETT, Wash.—Calvary Baptist Church hosted the Baptist Network Northwest’s Refine ministry conference April 25–27. The conference is an annual event that is dedicated to encouraging and equipping church members and leaders.

Jim Tillotson, president of Faith Baptist Bible College, “did an outstanding job of challenging us in our walk with the Lord and ministry for the Lord,” says David Lunsford, executive director of the Baptist Network Northwest.

The conference also included workshops on topics such as preaching, outreach, and cultural adaptation. The workshops “gave attendees much to think about in their efforts to refine their particular ministries,” Lunsford says.

Several organizations were also on hand to display their resources and services that aid churches. One those attending organizations was Regular Baptist Press, represented by field coordinator Alan Wilson, who displayed the latest books and curriculum from RBP.

Attendees enjoyed “great fellowship,” Lunsford says, “and many relationships were strengthened for future ministry.”
