CampPoint_inlineCAMP POINT, Ill.—With a combine, a tractor, hay-bale animals, and farm fencing in the yard, it was no secret that something was going on at Faith Baptist Church. That “something” was “Cowabunga Farm” Vacation Bible School, published by Regular Baptist Press. “What a great VBS theme for a country church,” says Pastor Tom Robbins.

“The great VBS theme translated into a fruitful week of Vacation Bible School,” he says. “God blessed with increased attendance and many new contacts.”

Students not only learned about God’s faithfulness through the life of Joseph, but also enjoyed playing a variety of farm-theme games, dressing like farmers on Friday Farm Day, and posing for photos next to a combine. CampPoint_thumbOn Sunday evening entire families attended VBS Family Night, complete with a hog roast picnic.

“But the greatest highlight,” Robbins says, “was several children trusting in Jesus as their personal Savior! Praise the Lord for our enthusiastic, creative, hard-working church family who faithfully and sacrificially ministered to the glory of God!”
