Build Up Christ’s Church Internationally: Help Needy Conferees
Ministry often involves money. Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, will be hosting five international conferences in October designed for both pastors and church leaders. Three three-day conferences will be held in Myanmar, followed by one in northeast India and one in south India. In addition to an estimated $5,000 in travel expenses for Chris and his wife, Deb, conference expenses also include supplementing the attendees’ food budget and assisting nationals with their bus fares. Each conference will cost about $750. When Natural Disasters Occur, Baptist Builders Club Garners Assistance
You never know what a day is going to bring! When that day brings a natural disaster, our administrative team’s first thought is, Are any GARBC churches in that area? Baptist Builders Club Director Michael Nolan and his wife, Kristen, quickly pick up their phones to check on pastors and church facilities in that region and offer reassurance that our association is praying and ready to help. Through Baptist Builders Club Disaster Relief, sister churches can help churches that have experienced natural disasters. You can join the Baptist Builders Club team by offering assistance in three ways:
- Pray. Become a Member of Baptist Builders Club.
- Give. Donate to assist when a catastrophe strikes a community, knowing that your funds are going where you intend.
- Go. Volunteer to become FEMA trained and join a BBC–USA Ready Now Team.
