Posted May 23, 2008 in Uncategorized

A clear strategy for placing the Great Commission at the forefront of our lives and ministries will be offered at this year’s GARBC Pre-Conference Seminar, Tuesday, June 24, 930 a.m.-noon. As a special free-of-charge offer for those attending the GARBC Annual Conference, the Association has asked guest speaker, Ariel Abadiano, to present Go, Guard God’s Global Glory (G5), an enjoyable and provocative multi-media presentation. This Biblical and relevant seminar will give special attention to the book of Acts. It will offer a look at disturbing parallels between Israel of the Old Testament and the modern Christian church and a global challenge and perspective on local and global outreach. This stimulating and informative seminar will challenge our view of life’s inconveniences in relation to God’s global glory. Email Andrea Gower to get in on the FREE Pre-Conference Seminar!

Looking toward National Competition

Posted May 16, 2008 in Uncategorized

Camden Baptist (Wellington, OH) teens are planning to  join their peers from across the country to participate in the National Talents for Christ competition at the June GARBC Conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, June 24-27.  Students and parents will arrive at the Crown Plaza Five Seasons Hotel to complete during Conference week. Teens in Wednesday’s group competition, including vocal groups and puppet and drama teams, will enjoy friendly rivalry while honing their skills for service. Nervous parents will cheer on their teens participating in scholarship competition in music, speaking, teaching, and Bible knowledge categories on Thursday. Students also have the opportunity to participate individually in open (non-scholarship) competition in all categories. Come, watch the competition-you will be blessed! Show the teens that you support their efforts in preparing to serve the Lord!
