The Church of the Open Door

By May 6, 2013July 16th, 2014No Comments

Warren W. Wiersbe
CLC Publications, 116 Pages, Paper, $8.50

This powerful new book from a prolific pen demonstrates how far off the track many churches are and what they must do about it. Wiersbe writes, “How tragic it is to see Christians today exalting preachers, musicians, religious celebrities and even well-known unconverted people, but failing to give glory to Jesus Christ, the only one who really deserves it.”

Using the book of Acts and other New Testament books, Wiersbe shows the importance of listening to the Holy Spirit, a lost art among many, and challenges churches to have open doors, not closed or almost closed doors, when it comes to ministry in God’s ordained instrument for this age.
