Here’s an up-to-date assessment of religious freedom, country by country. Each country is given a numerical ranking to indicate its level of freedom. The 101 countries included constitute more than 95 percent of the earth’s population. At the beginning of each entry by country, certain facts are given: population, breakdown of religions by percentage, etc. Then a background of the country as it relates to religious freedom follows, and the present-day situation completes the section. Several appendixes offer further discussion.

This book would be of particular help to anyone involved with missions work and research, or anyone interested in religious freedom, government regulation of religious activity, or religious persecution.
