MINISTRY HOUSE OFFERS PASTORS AND FAMILIES REFRESHMENT
Calvary Baptist Church, Quincy, Illinois, is making available a furnished home on its campus for ministry couples and families. Pastor Wayne Manago states, “We are calling the home the Ministry House and it is available rent free and utility cost free for short-term, first-come stays. The home can be used for those needing a ministry break or are hurting and are in need of spiritual refreshment, a vacation, or just a time away. MINISTRY ENRICHMENT CONFERENCE: CHURCH RENEWAL AND REVITALIZATION
Why isn’t my church growing, and what can I do about it? The M4 Ministry Enrichment Conference is coming Nov. 4–5 to Harvest New Beginnings in Oswego, Illinois. Scott Poling of Harvest New Beginnings and Pat Nemmers of Saylorville Church, two men who, by God’s grace, have lived and understand church renewal and revitalization, will be the keynote speakers for this fifth annual event. Interactive breakout sessions will foster fresh ideas and insightful interaction. Also, the conference will include opportunities for one-on-one discussions with experienced ministry leaders. REGIONAL BIBLICAL COUNSELING TRAINING CONFERENCE
Harvest New Beginnings in Oswego, Illinois, is partnering with Faith Church Ministries of Lafayette, Indiana, to host Biblical Counseling Training. The conference will be held over the course of three weekends on Friday evenings and Saturdays, Sept. 6–7, Oct. 4–5, and Nov. 1–2. Registration is open to anyone who wants to become competent and confident in reaching Biblical solutions to life’s trials and struggles, including marriage, parenting, worry, fear, depression, etc. Additionally, the conference will equip individuals in encouraging and discipling others. The training is highly recommended for pastors, church leaders, and individuals interested in starting a counseling ministry in their churches or becoming a Biblical counselor.
